The 80th Cancer Seminar, organized by the Cancer Center at Kyushu University Hospital, was held on September 10, 2026.

The seminar was chaired by Dr. Eishi Baba, Director of the Cancer Center at Kyushu University Hospital and Professor in our department. Dr. Ryosuke Hatae of the Department of Neurosurgery gave a lecture entitled “Treatment Strategies for Malignant Brain Tumors,” and Dr. Hirofumi Ohmura of the Department of Hematology, Oncology and Cardiovascular Medicine and Assistant Professor in our department gave a lecture entitled “Latest Advances and Topics in Pharmacotherapy for Gastric Cancer.”

The Department of Comprehensive Oncology will continue to promote educational and awareness-raising activities in the field of cancer care.
