On October 22, 2025, the “FY2025 Kyushu University Open Innovation Workshop” was held at Shiiki Hall on Kyushu University’s Ito Campus, where Professor Eishi Baba of our department received the Special Award for Industry-Academia-Government Collaboration Activities.

This award recognizes researchers who achieved outstanding results in industry-academia-government collaboration activities at Kyushu University during the previous fiscal year.

The workshop was organized to showcase the achievements of Kyushu University’s industry-academia-government collaboration initiatives and to promote interdisciplinary exchange among researchers, companies, local governments, and other organizations, with the aim of fostering new collaborations. In addition to the award ceremony, the event featured panel discussions, short pitches, and poster sessions, providing opportunities to share research outcomes and technological seeds and to strengthen networks among industry, academia, and government.

Encouraged by this recognition, we will continue to contribute to the practical application of research outcomes and the further advancement of healthcare through industry-academia-government collaboration.
